Kovai Nagarathar Kalyana Malai is a private matchmaking platform tailored for the Nagarathar community, emphasizing trust, cultural fit, and data privacy. Available on both web and mobile, it offers custom community-specific profiles, secure document uploads, match-based private chat, and optional phone number visibility controls. With a strong focus on verification and confidentiality, it ensures genuine connections while offering WhatsApp support for seamless assistance.

Challenges

  • Culturally Appropriate Profile Design: Creating community-specific fields like gothram and lineage without making the onboarding process too complex.

  • Privacy & Document Security: Preventing misuse while safeguarding sensitive identity documents uploaded by users.

  • Controlled Communication Flow: Enabling chat only after mutual interest to protect users from unsolicited messages.
